Meet Our Team

Dr. Bruce Vernon

1999 graduate of the Colorado State University – College of Veterinary Medicine. He obtained his Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University. He owned a small animal practice in Chandler for 15 years before opening Market Street Pet Hospital in 2015. Dr. Vernon’s professional interests include internal medicine, dermatology, dentistry, and surgery.

Dr. Vernon and his wonderful wife Cherryl share their busy life with 7 kids, 1 son-in-law, 1 granddaughter, 1 grandson, a super dog named Midge, an incredibly friendly cat named Uncle Wendel, a ball python named Leonard, multiple fish, and a salamander. Dr. Vernon is a lousy singer/songwriter, average mountain biker, pretty good griller, and amazing veterinarian.

Dr. Casey Jennings

Born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. As a local product he graduated from Westwood High School, Mesa Community College and Arizona State University. He graduated Veterinary School from Colorado State University in 2011 with his DVM degree. Dr. Jennings served a 2 year, Spanish and Guarani speaking, service mission to the country of Paraguay. He is now married with 4 crazy fun children.

When he is not expressing anal glands at work or changing diapers at home, Dr. Jennings enjoys hanging out with his pets, which include: 4 guinea pigs, a bearded dragon, a dog and a rabbit. He also enjoys playing almost any sport, especially basketball and volleyball. Dr. Jennings is wonderful with people and pets, and is a knowledgeable caring Veterinarian.

Dr. Andi Rosado

Graduated from Colorado State University in 2014 and did her undergraduate work at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. 

She is currently owned by a black Lab named Porkchop, a mischievous Border Collie mix named Hanabi, and two geriatric Shepherd mixes, Badger and Wesker. Her special interests include internal medicine and behavior medicine. Outside the clinic life, Dr. Rosado enjoys traveling, cooking, and attempting to garden, though there has been mixed success with the latter.

Dr. Michael Picard

1985 graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. He also is a graduate of The University of Connecticut 1980 with a Bachelor Degree in Pathobiology. He is a previous practice owner and is experienced in all fields of Veterinary Medicine. He started practice in 1985 is western Pennsylvania in a mixed animal practice and met his beautiful future wife Bonnie Lynn.

Erin Salgat - Hospital Manager

Erin has always had a place in her heart for animals of all species from dogs to horses to exotic pets like prairie dogs, which she had as a kid. From a young age she was always bringing home pets, to her parents surprise. Erin grew up around animals and spent a large part of her time working with and training horses in Miami, Florida where she was born and raised. In 2007 shortly after moving to Arizona she started working in the veterinary field with Dr.Vernon, DVM and Dr.Jennings, DVM. In 2015 she was thrilled when she was given the opportunity to help open and manage their new hospital, Market Street Pet Hospital.

Erin married her husband Mike in 2014 and share their love with, Rat terrier, Joey, Boston terrier, Gracie, and her 3 horses Dexter, Suede and Lucy. In January 2019 they celebrated the birth of their beautiful baby girl Claire Jean Salgat.

Christina Angulo

Christina has worked in the veterinary field for 14 years. She is born and raised in Arizona. She loves working with animals. She has 2 dogs, (Flo and Dug) 2 cows (T-Bone and Oreo Milkshake), a ferret named Barrett, about 30 chickens and a duck.

She married her high school sweetheart Adrian & also has a daughter. On her free time she loves spending time with her family and her little farm. She is always looking into making her farm bigger. She also enjoys camping, going for quad rides, baking, photography.

Amy Gilbert

Amy is originally from San Diego, California which is where she met her husband of over 26 years. They have three children, two who are married and one who is currently serving an LDS church mission in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They have one granddaughter who just turned one and is the light of their lives! They have lived in Gilbert for 19 years.

Amy has been an animal lover her whole life and loves working at Market Street Pet Hospital.
She feels grateful to be part of such a great team doing what she loves.

Hannah Waddle

Hannah loves riding horses and playing with her dogs and cats. Hannah was born and raised here in Arizona and graduated from ALA High school in queen creek, AZ. While in high school Hannah completed her Veterinarian Assistant classes through EVIT (East Valley Institute of Technology).

In 2017 during her last year in EVIT she completed the externship portion of school right here at Market Street Pet Hospital. Hannah has experience with exotic, small, and large animals.
Her love for animals shows no bounds.

Cheyenne Stockwell

Cheyenne was born and raised in Arizona. Her love for animals has lasted for as long as she can remember. She is finishing her schooling at Chandler-Gilbert Community College and plans to attend Arizona State University. Then eventually Veterinary school to complete her dream of becoming a Veterinarian.

She spends her free time reading, drawing and spending quality time with her family and friends. She has a dog named Maggie, a bearded dragon named Azul, and her two cats Diana and Loki.

Alinda Berry

Alinda was born in Las Vegas Nevada, raised in Riverside California and moved to Arizona April of 2019. She lives with Rambo the rat as well as her two dogs, Clutch a Siberian husky and Bullet a trouble making Terrier mix.

When she’s not working she likes to spend her free time hiking and exploring Arizona with her pups. She is thrilled to start her career with animals here at Market Street Pet Hospital!

Emma Vernon

Emma was born and raised here in Gilbert, Arizona. She is currently studying at Brigham Young University-Idaho majoring in Elementary Education. Growing up a veterinarian’s daughter, Emma has always loved animals and has been blessed with several pets throughout her life.

She is an outgoing people person who strives to bring joy to clients, their pets, and her coworkers through her work as a receptionist.

Sarah Lane

Sarah has lived many places throughout her life, but landed in Arizona in 2018 after graduating college with her Bachelor’s in Animal Science from BYU-Idaho. She started working in the veterinary field right away and fell in love with the work.

Sarah strives to be the best dog mom to her two fur-babies; Annie, an 11 year old black lab she rescued after college, and Oakley, a border collie / pitbull mix puppy! She enjoys hiking, camping, off-roading, and traveling with her husband, Jeremy.

Dallin Vernon

Dallin is from Gilbert, AZ. He loves dogs, fishing and his guitar. At home he has two snakes, a whole bunch of fish, a musk turtle, two sulcata tortoises, a crazy corgi and a frisky cat. 

He is currently studying online through BYU-Idaho. Dallin served a two year mission in CO. He is very funny and always keeps the team laughing!

Andrew Lacey

Andrew is from Phoenix, AZ.  After spending several years working in music as an artist and sound engineer, he decided to return to school to study biology, psychology and philosophy where he is looking to learn more about the scientific study of consciousness and human behavior.

He also enjoys spending time with his dog Lady (I didn’t name her that.) and geeking out on the work of Sam Harris and Jordan Peterson.

Devan Perkins

Devan is a vet student, husband and father. He currently attends Arizona State University and will be graduating May 2022 with an undergrad in pre-veterinary medicine. He has always had a love for animals! He grew up with dogs and worked with animals on his grandparents’ farm.

He enjoys spending time with his wife, Logan and his one-year-old son, Grayson. He likes the outdoors and going out with friends.

Tanner Smith

Tanner is from Colorado, he moved to Arizona in 2019. He is a big Avs, Rockies, and Broncos fan. He enjoys hiking, camping, and fishing.

Megan Lowe

Megan was born and raised on a small farm in Idaho! She has her associate’s in psychology from the College of Southern Idaho. Megan is currently studying online at Brigham Young University-Idaho for her bachelor’s degree. She served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Las Vegas Nevada.

She moved to Arizona in May of 2021. She has always had a love for animals. She loves seeing all the pets that come in and spending time with them.

Rebecca Hecht

Rebecca was born in Munich, Germany, and raised in Gilbert Arizona. She loves animals, especially her dog Pippin, named for one of the hobbits from the Lord of the Rings.

She has an eclectic grouping of interests including psychology and philosophy, Jiujitsu, and traveling. Her favorite place to travel is Austria where she enjoys hiking with her family.

Kiera Yoshino

Before making the move to Arizona from Washington state, Kiera worked at an exotics hospital. They treated dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and local wildlife. Kiera is an avid horseback rider and has worked with horses for 18 years. She is working on becoming a certified Equine Massage Therapist, as well as opening her own training facility.

When she isn’t riding horses, she loves spending time with her husband, son, and dog (Artemis), as well as hiking, photography, and drawing.

Maylina Schroder

Maylina was born and raised in Chandler, Arizona. She graduated from Hamilton High School in 2018 and completed her Veterinary Assistant program through the PIMA Medical Institute in 2019. Her goal is to become a Veterinary Technician.

Her love for animals started with her cat Willy Wonka who lived for 17 years!  Following him was her Ginger Tabby cat, Chloe, then later on rescued a Doberman Pinscher named Blue and a Corgi named Kiwi. Soon came along Ranger, her 14-year-old black lab retired hunting dog. She then took in a loving 13-year-old cat named Sylvia.

Katelynn Groves

Katelynn has been breeding, showing, and raising sheep since 2007. She enjoys being an advocate and providing quality sheep for the 4-H and the FFA community around the state.

Katelynn has been a part of the Market Street family since we opened our doors. She has experience in emergency veterinary medicine and is a great addition to our team!

Jarod Locke

Jarod was born in Boston and moved to Arizona at a young age. He enjoys spending time with friends, playing games, and loves music. Jarod has a hamster named Geralt and loves all animals!

Emma Moffett

Emma is an Arizona native born, raised on the Gila River reservation. She started her career at the age of 17, working for Casa Grande as an assistant kennel technician. She moved up to a supervisor position and began running the boarding facility, as well as learning to become a veterinary technician through on-the-job training. After 11 years in Casa Grande, she moved to a sister clinic in Chandler. She has now found her place here and is happy to be part of the Market Street Pet Hospital family.

Over the years she has picked up critters along the way both 2 and 4 legged. She has a couple of foster kids and lots of fur babies 8 dogs and 2 cats.
